From the initial charge, a lifetime of determination is compressed into just a few seconds.
Watching rikishi dedicate themselves to this sacred way moved me deeply.
Creating the Song
I wrote “Dosukoi Dosukoi” to honor that dedication.
It is not just a cheer from the ring —
it is a mantra, a quiet call to face the unseen self.
When I feel like giving up,
I quietly say to myself:
Dosukoi! Dosukoi!
With courage, I take one step forward.
